AI-enhanced emergency coordination for crisis situations.

HelpNow is a comprehensive emergency response and community support platform designed to help agencies manage crises, coordinate resources and support affected communities more effectively. The platform combines web-based command systems with mobile field applications to support end-to-end emergency operations from incident detection and assessment through to response, recovery and community assistance.

Built on a modern full-stack architecture using React, Node.js/Express and MongoDB, with a Flutter mobile app for field responders, HelpNow delivers real-time crisis management, resource tracking, volunteer coordination and secure communication tools for emergency services and community organisations.

The platform integrates the Mistral 7B language model to power intelligent situation assessment, AI-driven resource allocation, predictive crisis modelling and emergency decision support. This enables faster, more informed responses, improved inter-agency coordination and better utilisation of critical resources while maintaining strong security, reliability and compliance for life-critical environments.

Project Tasks

  • Emergency Platform Architecture & Development

    Designed and implemented a full-stack emergency response platform using React, Node.js/Express, MongoDB and Flutter to support command centre and field operations.

  • AI-Enhanced Crisis Management

    Integrated Mistral 7B–powered services for situation assessment, resource allocation, predictive crisis modelling and decision support for emergency coordinators.

  • Resource & Volunteer Coordination Systems

    Developed modules for resource tracking, logistics planning, cross-agency sharing and AI-assisted volunteer matching based on skills, availability and location.
